Above-Gulf Coast Rhinos show off their Silver Medals The Florida Sports Foundation presented the Fifth Annual Sunshine State Games Lacrosse Series in 2014. Two tournaments were held in May and June, 2014 with the top three teams in each division qualifying to play in a State Championship Tournament in September 13-14 in Stuart. The qualifiers in the High School division featured Xtreme Gold and Blue, The Gulf Coast Rhinos, Wellington, BAM LAX, & PL13 profollica saw palmento.  At the end of the day Xtreme Blue came out strong in the first half of the Gold Medal game.  It was 8-0 at half time.  The Rhinos tightened up on Defense and the Offense decided to wake up.  Unfortunately it was too little too late. Xtreme Blue won the Gold 9-6; GCHS (Rhinos) took Silver and possibly BAM Lax took the bronze defeating Xtreme Gold in the consolation game.
