Author’s Note:  We received a request from David Ott, the Head Coach at St. Augustine, to help out with a fundraising effort for the lacrosse programs in Key West and Coral Shores, as they were also very affected by the hurricane.  Here’s the letter:

  Guys, Our lacrosse brothers in the Florida Keys need our help! As you know, Hurricane Irma ripped through the lower and middle keys a few weeks ago.  The devastation was brutal and a good number of the residents lost their homes, belongings, and livelihoods. As a small gesture we are putting together a t-shirt fundraiser for the two lacrosse programs down there. Key West and Coral Shores HS both play in district 32, and face challenges every year being so far from other schools. We are selling t-shirts to help them defray some of the costs associated with rebuilding their programs after this terrible storm. 100% of the profits will go to these 2 schools!!
