O’Leary’s Insight   ‘s goal right before the half. How big of a moment was that? “That was a momentum shifter. I think we were looking for something to give us a little bit of a spark. I wouldn’t say we were flat, but shots weren’t falling. When that happens, that slows down your momentum a little bit.  We were getting good opportunities. I have to credit their goalie. I thought she played fantastic. She was holding her position and came up with some huge saves. Certainly Lindsey’s goal [right before the half] put us into the locker room a little more excited to come back out.” Florida’s draws help set up the Gators today. “I think Sabrina [Cristodero] and Shannon [Kavanagh] did a fantastic job on the draw. They are kind of a one-two punch. If Shannon’s not getting it, Sabrina is. I’m excited with their effort today. No doubt they will get better as we go on. I’m really proud of them.”  set UF’s draw control record today. How has she contributed to the team this season? “People don’t know that Sabrina is a phenomenal soccer player. She probably could have gone anywhere to play soccer and those abilities certainly help her on the lacrosse field. She’s got good lateral movement, she’s quick and feisty. She sees the ball so well and her reaction time is a split second. All of that off the draw is huge. She’s lining up against the other team’s best attackers and that’s a tall task for a freshman. She’s exceeded all expectations. I couldn’t be more excited about Sabrina and the fact that we have three more years with her.”  equaled Florida’s single game record for goals (8) today: “Just an outstanding effort. Lindsey’s 1v1 ability is tremendous, but her distribution ability as well and she rides really hard. It’s not just that she’s a goal scorer – Lindsey’s the whole package. That is evidenced by her selection to the Tewaaraton top 25, which is the Heisman Trophy of collegiate lacrosse.” Up Next: BIG EAST Tournament final action is this Saturday at Dizney Stadium.
