Intro to Team Defense: Adjacent Slides

This is the second of the Raptor Lacrosse Training videos on defense. This one is on Adjacent Slides.  For the newcomer an adjacent slide is most simply defined as the defenders closest to the defender guarding the ball carrier.  They are the the defenders who will ‘slide’ over to the ball carrier should that ball carrier look like he/she is beating their defender on a dodge to the goal. The defense tries to communicate with each other before the ball carrier makes their move so each player knows who is going to make that slide.
