The annual 2014 Showtime Event, was held at Western Connecticut State University. This invite only elite recruiting event is one of the “must do” stops if you have the opportunity to participate. Limited to only 160 rising sophomores and 160 rising juniors, many of whom are already committed, the competition is excellent and the stage is superior. Every Division 1 head coach and his staff were represented at the event. These coaches lined up on the sidelines daily, from start to finish. The coaches wanted to see who will be the next kid to be “committed” to their schools.
Below is a breakdown on our Florida participants:
2016’s
Lewis Langford (Maclay), Colin O’Hare (Benjamin), Conlan O’ Hara (St. Andrew’s), Andrew Packer (All-Star / Benjamin), Parker Sargent (St. Andrew’s), Cameron Thompson (All-Star / Benjamin).
Benjamin head coach Shane Rye coached and was a coach on the winning team in the All-Star game.
2017’s
Kevin Crowley (St. Thomas Aquinas), Brandon Hayek (Oxbridge), Jake Ferguson (All-Star/ Jensen Beach) (shown above with Dominick Gilberti of Martin County who also coached the winning team in the All-Star game) and Anthony Senior (Martin County).
