Benjamin 2018 Middie/FO Kylie Kempe Commits to Johns Hopkins!

Congratulations to Kylie on her college commitment and good luck with your future! Club Affiliation:  Laxmaniax   We received: “Benjamin’s Kylie Kempe has committed to apply early decision to Johns Hopkins, with the full support of the coaching staff. Kylie’s decision was made after considering a number of top D1 and D3 programs. Like her brothers (Conner, who was a quarterback at Dartmouth and Colby, who is a middie at Tufts) and sister, Kirby, who attended Rice on academic scholarships, Kylie, a high honors student with a 33 ACT, visited many schools for the right academic and athletic fit. In the end, it was the storied lacrosse history of Hopkins, the ability to play for a nationally ranked D1 program, coupled with a top 10 academic environment that produced the right fit for Kylie. “The lacrosse facilities at Hopkins are one of the best in the country,” Kylie said and “the coaching staff is just fantastic. “ “There is even a Tewaaraton winner currently on the staff,” Kylie exclaimed with reference to Assistant Coach Steele Stanwick of Virginia.” “I want to thank my coaches Steve Malasky, Shane Rye and Aaron Flood for all their help. Most of all, I want to say a huge thank you to Sarah and Trey Burlingame. Without their coaching and constant support this would not have been possible. Every time I wear my Blue Jay uniform I will think of you.”
