Lots of high energy from both teams give the goalies a work out. Senator Patrick Wendell makes at least 7 amazing saves. It was 2-4 at the half, and the 3rd quarter the sticks got hot with back and forth goals, giving Fletcher’s Ryan Bennett a hat trick plus one, leading his team with 4 goals in the game. The fans were very excited cheering for their teams. The winning goal from Charlie Hurst leaves him flat on his back from the Mustang goalie trying to defend against his shot. The Senators manage to get the district game win at 9-8. They will use the momentum to take on Episcopal at home this Friday night @ 6pm.
