Florida 22 Varsity vs Greene Turtle Baltimore 2014

From InsideLacrosse.com  In my opinion, this was the best game of the day. It was close down to the very end and really showed that the game is spreading to where a Florida program is competing with a majority MIAA ‘A’ conference team. With that in mind, Greene Turtle ended up winning and had several players stand out. Joe Gilbert (M/McDonogh School, MD/) controlled possession for GT by owning the face-offs while Topher Lobo (LSM/D/Boys’ Latin School, MD/) was all over the field pushing transition, throwing great checks and picking up loose balls. Brady Dashiell (M/Boys’ Latin, MD/Furman) had a nice full field clear for a goal and also threw in a little flavor with a behind the back goal. Colby Hogan (G/Towson, MD) made some great saves and was the loudest player on the field. Francesco Porcarelli (A/M, The Park School, MD) had two nice goals that displayed his Division I-ready shot and Matt Eibl (D/Dulaney, MD/VMI) impressed with his physicality and checks.
