The Westminster, Maryland product was an impenetrable force against the Moccasins on Saturday. FIT defeated Florida Southern 11-7, achieving not only the program’s first win over the Mocs but also clinching a spot in the SSC Tournament on April 24-26. Biller was Florida Tech’s final defense against a very good Florida Southern offense that came into the game averaging just over 13 goals per game. He made save after save against the Mocs, including a number of opportunities right on the door step. Biller finished with a game-high 16 saves. The redshirt-senior has started 12 games for the Crimson and Gray this season, accumulating a record of 11-1. On the season, Biller has allowed only 8.78 goals per game, recorded 125 saves and stopped more than 55 percent of the shots he’s faced. Biller and the Panthers have a critical matchup against the Tampa Spartans on Friday, April 17 at 8 p.m. at Pepin Stadium in Tampa, Florida. The winner will claim the No. 1 seed in the SSC Tournament.   Links to live pay-per-view video and stats for this SSC matchup will be available at FloridaTechSports.com.   SSC Player of the Week Release: http://www.sunshinestateconference.com/article.asp?articleID=3286 Eric Biller’s Bio: http://www.floridatechsports.com/mlacrosse/roster/275/1281/ 2015 Schedule: http://www.floridatechsports.com/mlacrosse/schedule/   Daniel Supraner Assistant Director of Athletic Communications Florida Tech Athletics 150 W.
