Lake Highland Defeats Bishop Moore 17-4 To Remain Unbeaten In District 11

Mar. 19th – Lake Highland (6-4; 4-0 District 11) traveled to Bishop Moore on Tuesday and defeated the host Hornets 17-4.  LHP raced to a 9-0 lead and led 12-3 at the half.  The Highlanders overcame numerous penalties and survived a six-minute man-down situation in the third quarter.  Max Parker controlled the face off X all evening, winning 20 of 22 face-offs.  LHP was led in scoring by Billy Roll (3G, 3A) and Clay Phillips (2G, 4A).  Four different players scored for Bishop Moore.  The Highlanders return home on Friday evening to host the first night of the O Town Showdown.  The Highlanders play Winter Park Friday evening and Timber Creek on Saturday.  Bishop Moore plays Timber Creek on Friday and Winter Park on Saturday.
