Maclay School to host Lacrosse Black Out Game vs. crosstown rival Chiles on Tuesday, March 3

Event will feature family-friendly fun and half-time ceremony honoring American’s heroes through Wounded Warrior Project TALLAHASSEE – Maclay School will host its 2nd annual Black Out Game on Tuesday, March 3, featuring play against crosstown rival Chiles High School, family-friendly fun and fundraising to benefit Maclay Lacrosse and the Wounded Warrior Project. Starting at 6 p.m., families can enjoy pregame entertainment including special activity stations and an appearance by First Commerce Credit Union’s Sammy Squirrel. Star 98.9 will also be broadcasting live from the event. The Maclay-Chiles rivalry lacrosse game will begin with face-off at 7 p.m. “This is a great opportunity for anyone interested or curious about lacrosse to come out and see two top varsity teams in action,” said Maclay’s Lacrosse Coach, Tyler Hardy. “This year, we also wanted to take this opportunity to support the Wounded Warrior Project, which will benefit from our fundraising efforts before and during the game.” Entertainment will include the Maclay Genesis Dance Team and a presentation to honor some of America’s heroes – our veterans – through the Wounded Warrior Project. Halftime will also feature drawings in the “Taylor, Tim, Tracks, & More” drawing to benefit Maclay Lacrosse and the Wounded Warrior Project. Tickets for the drawing will be on sale until the game begins at 7 p.m. Tickets for the Black Out Game will be on sale at the gate at Maclay’s Lacrosse field for $5/adults, $3/students.
