Robert Carney had a big night for the Mustangs as he found the net seven times to get Mandarin a win to start the season.  Freshman Jared Kane added two of his own.  Many of the Mandarin goals were set up with great playmaking by freshman middie Seth Middaugh.
Defensivley, the Mustangs were led by Senior German Chica and junior Tyler Charpentier.  Goalie Brent Gordon played well in the cage.
Next up for Mandarin (1-0) is a home game against Paxon (0-0) tonight.  Atlantic Coast (0-2) hosts Fletcher (0-1)on Friday.
