Miami-Killian boys doubled the score against Palmer Trinity (10-5) in a very physical game where Killian lead from the beginning and won each quarter (2-to-0, 4-to-2, 2-to-1, 2-to-1). Six of the 10 Killian goals were assisted. Palmer spent most of the evening on its defensive end owing to quick and efficient clears by the Cougars, as well as effective, aggressive redefends.
There were strong performances in goal on both sides, with Killian Senior Nick Shea making 22 saves, rookie Killian Freshman Andre Villalobos going 5 for 5, and Palmer goalie Jonathan Sourber making 12 saves.
