JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – As part of the sixth annual Moe’s Southwest Grill Lacrosse Classic sponsored by LAX.com and Brumos Automotive, Jacksonville hosts Monmouth in a non-conference game Sunday at 6 p.m. ET at D.B. Milne Field with the action being aired live on ESPN3 and judolphins.com.

About Monmouth
Monmouth was picked to finish third in the 2016 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Preseason Coaches’ Poll after finishing last year 6-8 overall and 3-3 in the league. The Hawks, who played in five one-goal games in 2015, return six of their top-eight scorers from a team that earned a spot in the MAAC Championships in just the program’s second year of competition.
The Hawks, who received a first place vote in this year’s preseason poll, collected 36 points in the vote of the league’s head coaches.
Andrew Grajewski was named to the Preseason All-MAAC Team. Grajewski, who has started all 27 games for the Hawks in the program’s first two seasons, is Monmouth’s first Preseason All-MAAC Team selection. The defender, who registered 18 goundballs and 12 caused turnovers in 2015, ranked ninth in the MAAC in caused turnovers per game (0.86) and helped lead Monmouth to the conference’s best goals against average (7.64), which ranked fourth in the NCAA.

Ewert and Tyler are tied for the Southern Conference (SoCon) lead and rank 11th in the nation with three goals apiece.
Ewert leads the SoCon and ranks ninth in the country in points per game (5.0).
The Dolphins lead the SoCon and rank fourth nationally averaging 9.0 assists per game.
