Play Offs Are Under Way! First Day Of Districts Are In The Books

In District 3 the finals are set for Providence vs. Sandalwood match. Second seeded Sandalwood was able to squeak by the third seed Fletcher 9-8. And the top seed Providence cruised past the fourth seed Atlantic Coast 14-2.
The District 4 final will see Fleming Island, who beat Mandarin 10-2, take on top-seed Bolles who had a bye in the district semis.
In District 8 number two seed Seminole took on the three seed Winter Springs. The 14-7 win puts Seminole in position to take on the winner of the Lake Mary vs. Father Lopez game.
District 9 top seed, Lake Brantley, will move onto the district final after beating Lyman 25-1. They will face the third seeded Apopka who upset Wekiva, the second seed, 11-6.
District 14 will see a Dr. Phillips vs. Olympia finals. Top seed Dr. Phillips beat Freedom 19-7 and second seed Olympia beat Lake Nona 15-1.
District 17 favorite, Gulf Coast, won their semi final game over Immokalee 17-1. They will face Golden Gate, who beat Palmetto Ridge 7-1.
District 20 will see Vero Beach take on St. Edward’s in the final. Vero cruised by Sebastian River 20-0. St. Ed’s beat John Carroll Catholic 15-4.
Stoneman Douglass beat Coral Springs Charter 14-1 to advance to the District 25 finals. They will face either North Broward Prep or West Boca.
