Ponte Vedra Beats Lake Brantley in Overtime Thriller

The Ponte Vedra Sharks handed the Lake Brantley Patriots their first loss of the season in an intense match-up between two highly competitive programs. Ponte Vedra came out to win and jumped to an early lead, commanding the first half of the game. The Sharks had the lead for most of the game, but the Patriots fought hard and closed the gap during the second half. The game was tied with just under four minutes remaining when Eric Applegate scored to put the Sharks ahead by one. The Patriots answered quickly with a goal of their own to tie the score at 10. Ryan also scored a goal for the third game in a row. Ponte Vedra hosts Flagler Palm Coast this Friday in their final game of the regular season.
