Connor Thornton scored 3 goals and 4 assist to  lead Pope John Paul II over Cardinal Newman.  Jake Boyer had 3 goals and Chris Castellon had 2 goals and 1 assist.  The only senior on the team this season Ricky Reyes had 2 goals and 1 assist on Senior Night. Pope improves to 11-6 with the win and will face off against 13-3 St. Andrew’s in the first round of district play offs on Wednesday.  Cardinal Newman finished the regular season at 9-7.
