St. Edward’s Comes Back to Defeat Ransom Everglades

Terrell Sands (High Point University) controlled the Face Offs, especially in the second half, as the St. Edwards Pirate erased a 6-4 halftime deficit to to wrestle control of the game from Ransom Everglades on their home field in Coconut Grove. The Pirates show signs of Growing up Fast as all the goals were scored by underclassmen.  Eighth grader, Ross Pridemore scored 5 goals and had one assist.  Austin Strazzulla with 3 goals and  1 assist is a sophomore and Josh Hurwitz 2 goals 1 assist also is a sophomore.  Kevin Murphy was stellar in Goal with 10 saves.  Clay Deal played well in the defensive midfield with 4 ground balls, and Freshman Danny Walsh Led an improving Pirate Defense along with Aaron McGee and Johnny Schwerer. Tyler Martin lead the way in the goal for Ransom, keeping them in the game to the very end.
