Tyler Kuhlman is a senior attackman and captain for the Wellington High School Wolverines, where he set a school scoring record in 2012 (60 Goals, 47 Assists) and was the repeat MVP while earning 1st Team All District and 2nd Team All Region Honors.  Tyler also played for Team 22 and Team Florida. Tyler is a Brine All American and played in the National Lacrosse Classic representing Florida this past Summer. Tyler also attended Top 205 in Towson where he was selected to the All Star game and led the his team in Scoring. Tyler finished the Summer with Team Florida, winning the prestigious Battle of the Hotbeds! After seriously considering offers from several D1 schools, Tyler decided to stay in his great home state of Florida and committed to Coach Marty Ward and the FSC Moccasins! FSC’s academic offering in Business, including Sports management, accompanied by Coach Ward’s enthusiasm and program (Conference championship game past 2 years) were the deciding factors between some great Florida colleges/Universities options/offers. Tyler thanks “All my Coaches from Team Florida and my teammates for helping me elevate my game and accomplish my dream of playing at the next level. The Team 22 staff who are incredible, special thanks to coach RJ Dawson for his continued support and guidance through the recruiting process. My first 2 coaches Tim Milano and Mark Albers, who cultivated in me the love of Lacrosse. Also Coaches Billy Allen, Jim Jacobs, Tony Lowe, Danny Loftus, Chazz Woodson for ALL you’ve taught me about the game! And, Most of all my Head Coach Joe Calby who has helped me to grow as a player and leader, both On and Off the field. I am so proud of Western Community Lacrosse in Florida, and will always carry Pride in my teammates and the Coaching staff of the WOLVERINE nation. Last but certainly not least, none of the above could have been accomplished without the love, support, time, and money invested by my family and especially my Father–I love you Dad, We did it!!”
